Seven years ago, West Ottawa Eyecare started from scratch in a 950-square-foot space. Today, the local, family-owned practice is preparing to expand into 3,000 square feet right next door, giving its team more room to care for local families and welcome new patients.

The move will take the practice from 971 Butternut Drive to 975 Butternut Drive, the former Simpatico Coffee building. The map below highlights the future location. Patients are still being seen at 971 Butternut Drive, Suite C.

Led by Dr. Hannah Totten alongside Dr. William ā€œBillā€ Meengs and Dr. Garrison Farr, the team serves patients of all ages with eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, and care for eye health and vision concerns. Several staff members and one of the doctors are bilingual in English and Spanish.

New patients are welcome. The practice accepts many medical and vision insurance plans, including Medicaid.

According to Dr. Totten, West Ottawa Eyecare is ā€œthe only office in the greater Ottawa County extending into Allegan / Van Buren counties to accept all Medicaid plans for exams and glasses.ā€ Contact the office to confirm your specific coverage when scheduling.

Whether your child needs an eye exam, you’re looking for new glasses, or your family needs an eye care home, West Ottawa Eyecare is welcoming new patients as it grows right here in the neighborhood.
