Big Red Racing Series (sailboat races) — Wednesday, Sept. 2, 6:30–8:30 p.m., watch from Holland State Park. The largest Wednesday-night sailboat racing fleet on this side of Lake Michigan — free to watch, colorful spinnakers and all. Mark your calendars — the Holland Literary Festival, Holland's first-ever, returns Saturday, September 12, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. @ Holland Town Center, hosted by Bluestocking Bookshop. Readers, indie authors, and booksellers come together for a full day of panels, readings, food trucks, and live music.
